Adam Rael is a writer developing original stories across film, television, animation, and documentary. His work is driven by high-concept ideas, emotionally grounded characters, and a love of genre storytelling, blending comedy, science fiction, fantasy, and horror with human themes. Through Cassette Vision, he is building a slate of original IP with international potential, creating stories designed to entertain broad audiences while remaining distinctly personal.

As a kid, I used to insist my friends play imaginary games the way I thought would be the most fun. Looking back, I guess I never really stopped doing that.
Today, I'm a writer based in Dublin, working across commercials, film and television. I'm the co-founder and Creative Director of Cassette Vision, and direct commercial work through our sister company, Conker Cuts.
My writing is driven by big concepts, unusual worlds and character-led stories that find the balance between the imaginative and the emotional. I’m drawn to comedy, horror and genre storytelling, especially projects that can make audiences laugh, think and feel something unexpected.
Alongside my own writing, I work closely with filmmakers, artists and creative teams to develop projects through production, always looking for the idea at the heart of a story and the best way to bring it to life.
